A few truths have stuck out to me this Christmas season.
We have a savior who has given us hope!
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.”
Eternity with Him is so glorious it can’t be compared to this dark world. Thank God His Kingdom has come and there is light! Still, we suffer but it doesn’t compare to how glorious eternity can be if we know Him!
He came for us!
“For the Son of Man has come to save the lost.”
When He lived among us, He did not use His abilities and power to build a Kingdom and rule over us. He came to help us, love us, heal us, save us, and lead us. Think about what He did, how He came, how He helped, who He healed, who He befriended...
He did not come to gain anything for Himself. He didn’t and doesn’t need anything. He simply came for our sake.
It’s all up to Jesus. Trust Him and live well. Rejoice and be happy. God made us all. Jesus did enough to save us all. The rest is up to us. Opportunity, influence, success, life, circumstances....it’s all from Him and by Him.
“I am the Lord’s slave,” said Mary. “May it be done to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.”
We must be willing to take what He gives us to do and do it.
He did not come to rule. He already rules! He did not come for Him. He is already right and good. He came because He loves us. He came for us.
Intend to Live
