Contentment

Be content. Wait on God.

What is something you wanted too much that you didn’t wait on God but should have?

What is something you are doing now that you should stop doing on your own and wait on God first?
Don’t be complacent.
Don’t be impatient.
Don’t be anxious.
Don’t be lazy.

Be happy. Rejoice in what you have. Enjoy the small progress. If you look too far down the road, it’s harder to enjoy the progress you are making today. Link good choices together over time, pray always, wait on Him. “I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content — whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:12‬

Complacent is not the same as contentment. To be content is to know Truth and seek Truth. To be complacent is to ignore the truth and be satisfied with the status quo. Contentment comes from Christ.
Choose Contentment, Not Resentment.
